Saturday Morning Wheel Workshop
Coffee & Clay - A cozy morning out getting creative with clay, lattes, & good company.
March 14 10am-12pm
A cozy morning out — coffee, clay, and good company.
This one time event is a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery wheel workshop designed as a slow Saturday morning of making and learning over a good cup of coffee (provided). You’ll learn the basics of centering and pulling clay while trying your hand at creating a simple cylinder form (such as a cup, small bowl, or small vase), with plenty of hands-on guidance along the way. No prior experience is needed.
First-time wheel throwing can be unpredictable — some students will create a piece to keep, and others may simply enjoy the experience of learning and practicing. This workshop is less about perfection and more about process, play, and enjoying time at the wheel.
With a small group of only four participants, you’ll receive personal instruction while enjoying an easygoing, welcoming atmosphere.
Finished pieces will be glazed and fired after the workshop.
