February 14: 2-4pm
A cozy pottery date day — sign up as one couple.
This Valentine’s workshop is designed for two couples to share a relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to the pottery wheel. You and your partner will learn the basics of centering and pulling clay while trying your hand at creating a simple cylinder form (such as a cup, small bowl, or small vase). No prior experience is needed.
First-time wheel throwing can be unpredictable — some participants will create a piece to keep, and others may simply enjoy the experience of learning and practicing. This workshop is less about perfection and more about trying something new together, having fun, and enjoying a slow, creative afternoon.
With only two couples per workshop, you’ll receive plenty of hands-on guidance while still enjoying the energy of a small group environment.
Finished pieces will be glazed and fired after the workshop.
